Pacific Surgical Acquires OSIS Medical
VANCOUVER, April 30, 2021 – Pacific Surgical Holdings Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has acquired OSIS Surgical Instruments & Supplies Inc. (OSIS Medical), an Ontario-based distributor of premium surgical microscopes used in Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, ENT, Urology, Gynecology, Dental and Plastics/Reconstructive applications.
OSIS Medical was established in 1981 by Lui Mattiazzi as the primary dealer for Leica Microsystems surgical microscopes in Canada. Leica Microsystems products are renowned worldwide for their optical precision and innovative technology. OSIS Medical also represents additional medical/surgical brands such as, Ecolab (microscope and equipment drapes), and OCULUS Surgical (wide-angle retinal surgery devices).
OSIS Medical will be merged with the ANDA Medical division to create a new company that leads with its flagship brand Leica Microsystems; offers a wide range of used/refurbished medical equipment including microscopes, flexible endoscopes, and ultrasound/imaging devices; and provides biomedical services including both bench work and on-site equipment maintenance.
