ANDA Medical Joins Pacific Surgical
December 4, 2014 – Vancouver, BC – On Wednesday, December 5, 2014
Pacific Surgical finalized the acquisition to add ANDA Medical to its family of companies. This complementing addition is the fourth company under the Pacific Surgical group of companies but will be the first subdivision operating internationally.
ANDA Medical is an Ottawa-based company that services the international healthcare market by providing affordable refurbished medical equipment. The company is Canada’s largest retailer of used equipment, selling devices ranging from CT scanners and MRI’s to patient monitoring devices, ultra sound machines, and other operating room equipment. ANDA Medical has three warehouses with locations in Ottawa, New York state, and Mexico City.
Michael Fish, president of Pacific Surgical, announced to stakeholders, “The acquisition will allow for a synergetic partnership between ANDA Medical and our two other surgical companies, Galen Medical and Keir Surgical. The vision is to have our surgical sales teams work with ANDA Medical to help procure medical equipment from healthcare facilities across the country to create fresh opportunities that will allow our newest division to grow.
